A frequently asked question is whether our cable shielded. Our cable is NOT shielded. Shielding is most often used is to cut capacitive noise. Shielding may actually act as an antenna for true low-capacitance cable, increasing capacitive noise! Everything needed to keep out distorting influences has already been built into the design of the cable.
However, we realize there are certain instances when shielding is necessary. For these specific cases, a shielded version is available. We also offer a balanced version.
